Limited to 20 seats
This guided pottery workshop invites you to explore sculptural form through clay in a relaxed, intimate studio setting.
In this session, you will learn how to hand-build and sculpt a contemporary female form-inspired vase using traditional clay techniques. This is not a wheel-throwing class — it is a tactile, hands-on sculpting experience focused on shape, proportion, balance and surface detail.
You will be guided step-by-step through the process of building your piece from raw clay to finished sculptural form.
• Basic hand-building techniques
• Working with slab and pinch methods
• Shaping and refining organic forms
• Creating structure and balance
• Surface smoothing and detailing
• Preparing your piece for firing
No prior pottery experience is required. This workshop is beginner-friendly while still being engaging for those who enjoy working three-dimensionally.
• All clay and studio materials
• Use of tools during the session
• Bisque firing of your piece
• Glazing in a neutral tone (studio selected)
Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and ready for collection at a later date (collection details will be communicated after the workshop).
This is a small-group workshop limited to 20 seats to allow for individual guidance and a calm, creative environment.
You are welcome to enjoy beverages during the session. Light snacks may be brought along or ordered from our partner restaurants nearby.
Our workshops are intentionally prepared, small-group experiences. Each seat is individually set with materials, layout, and planning specific to the session.
When you book a workshop, that seat is reserved specifically for you.
All workshop bookings are non-refundable.
Due to repeated last-minute cancellations negatively impacting workshop planning and operations, refunds are no longer available once a booking has been confirmed.
We appreciate that life can be busy and schedules can change. However, when a seat is secured, preparation begins immediately. For this reason, cancellations do not qualify for refunds or credits.
