Live Model Drawing Session
23 May | 17:00–20:00
R600 per person
For artists who want to move beyond casual sketching and study the human form with intention.
Our Human Still Life session is a structured, studio-based figure drawing experience designed to strengthen your understanding of proportion, tone, structure and form.
This is a calm, disciplined environment for serious practice.
You will be working from a live male model, posed in underwear with carefully draped material to allow for anatomical study while maintaining a classical aesthetic.
The session includes:
• Three poses
• One hour per pose
• Time to develop depth and refinement in each drawing
This extended pose format allows you to move past quick gesture work and fully observe proportion, light, weight and structure.
Throughout the session, guided instruction and short theory discussions will support your understanding of:
• Proportion and measurement
• Tonal structure
• Form and volume
• Observational accuracy
This is ideal for beginners wanting strong foundations, as well as intermediate artists refining their technique.
All materials are included. You are welcome to bring your own preferred drawing tools if desired.
We intentionally limit this session to 10 artists to maintain a quiet, focused atmosphere and ensure meaningful guidance. This is not a social evening — it is an intentional study session.
